EUR/USD
The Shared currency modestly gained to $1.1325 despite a jump in the  two-year US Treasury yields lift the dollar.

 

GBP/USD
The Cable gained to $1.3435 amid more positive news at home concerning the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.

 

USD/JPY
The Japanese yen extended losses to 114.81 against the U.S dollar, ignoring upbeat local industrial production data earlier today.

 

AUD/USD
The Aussie dollar darted higher to $0.7242 amid Australian markets closed for a holiday.

 

USD/CAD
The Loonie surged to 1.2790 against the greenback after WTI consolidated the biggest daily gains in three weeks as markets await fresh clues.

 

USD/ZAR
South African rand hardly budged at 15.54 per U.S dollar on a closed market.

 

USD/MUR
The dollar-rupee stayed put at 43.55(selling).
