AfrAsia Bank announces the appointment of Mr. Jean-Raymond Rey as its Interim Chairman
AfrAsia Bank announces the appointment of Jean-Raymond Rey as its Interim Chairman, with effect from 1 April 2022 after Mr. Inderjit Bedi resigned to pursue other challenges in Europe.
Jean-Raymond Rey has over 35 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry in various countries in Africa, including Mauritius, South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo where he headed financial institutions. Jean-Raymond Rey was the initial Managing Director of Standard Bank (Mauritius) in the early 2000’s. During his career, Jean-Raymond Rey has managed challenges across a diverse range of Executive and Non-Executive Director roles.
