Vijit Yadav – AfrAsia Bank’s new Chief Operating Officer
AfrAsia Bank announced on Monday 8th August 2016, the appointment of Vijit Yadav as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Vijit Yadav will take the lead on modernizing the Bank’s operating platform and will oversee all processes and procedures with the aim to increase operational capacity and enhance the Bank’s customer centricity.
This addition to the Bank’s senior team is in line with its strategy to be a key player in the domestic market which is committed to improving customer experience at the times.
Prior to joining AfrAsia, Vijit was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at DBS Bank India and held similar positions in the HSBC Group (in the USA and India). With a track record of more than 27 years in the banking sector, Vijit has extensive and valuable expertise in change management and digital implementation for achieving operational and financial excellence in global organizations.
