There are often questions around "Are internal auditors the 'police officers' of organisations?".
Quite a difficult question to answer straight away you may think but in fact the answer is simple: No. While you may view that the roles and the responsibilities of an internal auditor are limited to ensure that every employee is adhering to approved rules and procedures of an organization, the reality is that the scope of an internal audit function is much larger.
