More than Rs 1.8 million invested for development of children’s welfare through education.
As part of its CSR philosophy, the Bank has committed its support and financial contribution towards the projects of these NGOs targeting projects targeting less fortunate children and empower them to succeed in life through their education.
Present for the event, Minister of Social Integration and Economic Empowerment, Hon. Pradeep Roopun endorsed AfrAsia Bank’s initiative and said, "Fighting poverty isn't an easy task, but feeding a child is. Let us all support and respect the protection of human rights, for it is said that businesses cannot succeed in societies that fail."
