• Wednesday, 12 March 2025 for the Anniversary of the Independence and Republic Day of  Mauritius. 
• Monday, 31 March 2025 for the Eid-Ul-Fitr festival, subject to the visibility of the moon. 
  Should the moon not be sighted, the festival will be held on Tuesday 01 April 2025.

No securities transactions, foreign exchange deals and transaction requests will be processed or settled on these days, and shall be handled on the next business day.

The central bank, stock exchange, depository and all other financial institutions will also be closed for business on this day.
