Health Awareness Programme
In line with SDG 3 (to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all), this programme raises cancer awareness amongst our employees, our clients and the community at large.
Since 2014, we have partnered with the NGO ‘Link to Life’ to actively raise awareness about cancer, educate our community about the disease and emphasise on the importance of early detection. Through our Health Awareness Programme, the AfrAsia Foundation donated 2 breast cancer screening ultrasound machines to the NGO - consequently, from to 2021, more than 12,300 women Island-wide have benefitted from breast screenings. Furthermore, going a step further, we have also donated 150 breast prosthesis to help cancer survivors in their recovery journey post-surgery.
